The story
StudioHand comes from twenty years behind consoles and beside songwriters: lyrics in one app, track sheets on paper, and the 1 a.m. argument about which take was the keeper. It was built by a working engineer to follow a song from the first line to the finished release — with optional voice notes, reference audio and a local instrument tuner — and to run beside the DAW as the record of what happened in the room.
Each song keeps its lyrics, chord charts and arrangement, and stays linked to every session that touched it. In the room, takes get rated as they happen and the keeper gets circled, punch cues are stamped straight off the running session clock, and the session timer checkpoints as it runs to support recovery after an interruption — recovered time should be reviewed before billing. At the end of the night, one tap produces the PDF session report that goes to the client.
The app ships in two modes over one library. Engineer leads with the sessions in the room; Musician leads with the songs in progress. Both are included in the single purchase, and switching modes never hides anything.
