Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how the StudioHand app (“StudioHand,” “the app,” “we,” “us”) handles your information. StudioHand is published by Stout Sound & Design LLC d/b/a Intricate Designs Studio.
The short version
StudioHand is built to be private. Your sessions, songs, takes, notes, photos, and business records are stored on your device. We do not have an account system, we do not have servers that store your content, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data. The app does not track you and contains no advertising or analytics SDKs.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location, usage analytics, or the content you create in the app. StudioHand has no login and no first-party backend that receives your data.
Information stored on your device
Everything you create in StudioHand — sessions, songs, takes, cues, lyrics, photos, voice notes, gear, invoices, bookings, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple’s on-device database. You control this data: you can export or back it up to a file (PDF, CSV, or a full JSON backup) and import it onto another device, and deleting the app removes its local data.
Device permissions
StudioHand asks for the following permissions only when you use the related feature. Data accessed through them stays on your device.
- Camera & Photo Library — to attach reference photos to sessions, songs, and takes (mic placement, patch points, settings recall). Photos are stored in the app on your device.
- Microphone — to record short voice notes on takes. Recordings are stored in the app on your device.
- Calendar — if you enable booking sync, StudioHand mirrors your room bookings into Apple Calendar on your device. This is a local integration with your own calendar; we do not receive your calendar data.
You can grant or revoke any of these in your device’s Settings → Privacy & Security.
Subscriptions and purchases
StudioHand offers optional StudioHand Pro and StudioHand Studio auto-renewing subscriptions.
- Apple processes all payments through the App Store. We never see your payment details. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
- RevenueCat, Inc. is the service we use to manage subscription status and unlock paid features. To do this, RevenueCat processes purchase-related information and an app-generated identifier. We use this only to determine whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat’s handling of this data is described in RevenueCat’s own privacy policy.
We do not use this information to identify you personally or to track you across apps or websites.
Third parties
The only third parties involved are Apple (App Store billing and on-device frameworks) and RevenueCat (subscription management), as described above. We do not integrate advertising networks, analytics providers, or social-media SDKs.
Children’s privacy
StudioHand is a professional tool intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
Data retention and deletion
Because your content lives on your device, you control its retention. Delete the app to remove its local data. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple ID subscription settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on iPhone/iPad, or the App Store on Mac).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and posting the revised policy at this URL.
